【EN】Tokyo Station Pokémon Store Guide: Meet the Exclusive Station Master Pikachu and Must-Buy Souvenirs
Looking back at my trip to Tokyo in February 2025, I stayed at the Toyoko Inn Tokyo Station Yaesu Kita-guchi. This hotel is a dream for shoppers because it is just a short walk across the street to the massive world of the Yaesu Underground Mall.
I actually wrote a full review of that super convenient hotel, which you can check out here if you are planning to stay near Tokyo Station:

After checking in, I headed straight for "Tokyo Character Street." Among the many cute shops, the Pokémon Store Tokyo Station Shop was my main destination. While smaller than a full-scale Pokémon Center, this location offers exclusive items you won't find anywhere else in the world.

The Pokemon Fit Wall and More
A highlight for collectors is the "Pokemon Fit" series. I spotted the Gen 4 starters from the Sinnoh region, including Chimchar, Monferno, and Infernape. These palm-sized plushies are perfect for office desks or shelf displays.
The shelves were well-stocked with favorites like Charmander, Squirtle, and Eevee. Seeing them all lined up is incredibly therapeutic and makes it very hard to pick just one!
Exclusive Souvenir: Station Master Pikachu Cookie Tin Unboxing
The tin features a beautiful illustration of Pikachu in front of Tokyo Station’s iconic red brick walls. The gold finish and embossed texture give it a premium feel, making the tin itself a valuable collector's item long after the cookies are gone.

Traveler Tips for Tokyo Station Shopping
・Best Time to Visit: The Yaesu Underground Mall gets very busy during the day. I recommend visiting around 7:00 PM on a weekday. It’s much more relaxed, and you can take photos with the statues without waiting in a long line.
・How to Find It: Look for signs for "First Avenue Tokyo Station" (Tokyo Ichiban-gai). The shop is located within the "Tokyo Character Street" section on the B1 floor.
・Inventory Note: Station master exclusives are highly sought after. If you see something you like, grab it immediately, as popular items can sell out quickly during holidays.
