[EN] [Tokyo · Stay] Toyoko Inn Tokyo Station Yaesu North Exit: The perfect base for Shinkansen travelers with free breakfast

In February 2025, I stayed at the Toyoko Inn Tokyo Station Yaesu North Exit during my trip to Tokyo. I chose this hotel because I had to catch an early Shinkansen (bullet train) the next morning. Being within walking distance of Tokyo Station made the journey much easier. To be honest, while the room is a bit small, its location and functionality make it a very solid choice for anyone traveling through the capital.

📍 1. Prime Location Near Tokyo Station

The biggest advantage of this hotel is its proximity to the Yaesu North Exit of Tokyo Station.

It’s only a few minutes' walk from the station, which is a life-saver if you are carrying heavy luggage. The hotel is also very close to the Yaesu Underground Mall, giving you plenty of options for dining and shopping right at your doorstep.

Like most Toyoko Inn hotels, the room is clean and straightforward.

📍 3. Clean Bathroom and Thoughtful Amenities

The bathroom was a standard modular unit, but it was spotless and well-maintained.

I brought my own Pokémon-themed bath salts (this one was Eevee!) to enjoy a relaxing soak. After a long day of walking around Tokyo, there is nothing better than relaxing in a tub with your favorite bath salts. Please note that these are personal items and not provided by the hotel.

One of the best perks of staying at Toyoko Inn is the free breakfast included with your room.

They offer a good variety of fresh bread and coffee. It’s perfect for a quick and easy meal before heading out to the station for your morning train.

If you plan on staying at Toyoko Inn frequently, I highly recommend getting a membership card. You get a free night for every 10 nights you stay, which is a fantastic deal for regular travelers. Also, make sure to use the Yaesu North Exit at Tokyo Station for the shortest walk to the hotel.
