[EN] Tokyo Travel | Tokyo Daijingu: A Rainy Visit to the Most Powerful Love Shrine. Finding Peace and a "Daikichi" Fortune in Iidabashi|Ryobiyori

In the spring of 2024, I visited Tokyo Daijingu, known as the "Ise Grand Shrine of Tokyo." It was a drizzly afternoon, but the rain only added a layer of mystical beauty to this urban sanctuary.

📍 1. Tokyo's Love Power Spot
Tokyo Daijingu is legendary for its blessing in En-musubi (love and matchmaking). It is the pioneer of Shinto-style weddings. People from all over come here to pray for meaningful relationships.

📍 2. Rainy Day Aesthetics
Shrines in the rain have a unique "Shizuka" (quietness). The wet wood, the reflections on the stone floor, and the sound of raindrops hitting the roof create a meditative atmosphere.

📍 3. Fortunes and Charms
No visit to Tokyo Daijingu is complete without an Omikuji (fortune slip). I was lucky enough to draw a Daikichi (Great Blessing)! The pink Ema (votive tablets) decorated with Lily of the Valley flowers are absolutely charming.
